FSC® Certification for a Coated Paper with 80% Recycled Content, 60% of it Post-Consumer

New Leaf Paper Announces FSC® Certification for 'Primavera Gloss,' a Coated Paper with 60% Post-Consumer Recycled Content

New Leaf Paper has earned certification from the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) for its high-end gloss coated paper, New Leaf Primavera. The Forest Stewardship Council supports responsible use of forest resources and its FSC certification logo has become a hallmark of environmental responsibility in the paper industry.

New Leaf Paper further augmented the environmental specifications of New Leaf Primavera by increasing the post-consumer recycled waste content (PCW) to 60% and manufacturing it with electricity that is offset with Green-e® certified renewable energy certificates. Most recycled coated papers in the U.S. fall well below this standard, containing only 10% to 30% PCW. New Leaf Paper set the previous standard with their product lines, New Leaf Reincarnation Matte and New Leaf Sakura 100 Silk, made with 50% PCW and 100% PCW respectively.

New Leaf Primavera Gloss is a glassy, double-coated sheet that is known for high brightness (91), high print fidelity and competitive pricing. This item is suitable for annual reports, book jackets, marketing materials and other projects requiring high-resolution imagery.
