Regeneration in Nature
Its Spring and we wanted to share a really sweet poem about this season by Lilja Rogers. It is untitled and references the colder climates of New England, speaking to the miracle of regeneration, one of the main tenets of 'green' living:
First a howling blizzard woke us,
Then the rain came down to soak us,
And now before the eye can focus -
Crocus.
Lilja Rogers is the Swedish pen name of Lillian Hillbom Rogers, 1901-1996, North Hampton NH.
