GreenShape LLC, a nationally recognized green building and sustainability consulting firm based in Washington, DC, is seeking an individual with an interest in green building and sustainable practices and a background in architecture, engineering, environmental science, or marketing to support our expanding green building consulting practice. GreenShape guides building owners, developers, and design and construction teams in the creation of buildings, programs and education for sustainable living. We have helped over 150 project teams set high green building performance goals and create a legacy of excellence through their work. Responsibilities: Responsibilities may include: • Conducting internet research on green building topics and market trends • Development and editing of marketing collateral • Developing brief articles and presentations • Data entry and database management • General project and administrative support Qualifications: Candidates should have basic knowledge of marketing fundamentals and a proven commitment to environmental issues. Applicants should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable using current software technology including MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and be extremely detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will also have experience with graphic design software such as inDesign. The individual must be highly motivated, organized, and able to work efficiently with minimal supervision. The candidate must also be able to work on multiple projects while meeting specific deadlines.
