LEED Project Manager

Incumbent of this position has primary management responsibility of LEED processes and deliverables of Corporate Real Estate including but not limited to the following: 1. Acts as primary contact, coordinator, and resource for project, day to day environmental sustainability implementation, monitoring, documentation and management; 2. Supports CRE and partners in the implementation of environmental projects and initiatives; 3. Manages results through obtaining input from others and facilitates overall project environmental sustainable plan, execution, training and implementation; 4. Actively manages the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan. Establishes basic scope control procedures required for the adoption of LEED; 5. Develops documentation, monitors and reports project status, assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation; 6. Initiates and maintains reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and ensure continuous efficient management of projects, gathers input and feedback; 7. Analyzes and reports project status and research information, monitors project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables, and content; 8. Effectively assists in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines; 9. Collaborates and communicates with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross project initiatives and activities; 10. Identifies and eliminates obstacles to solution plans, business goals, or implementation; 11. Assists in the development and implementation of contingency plans. Assists in the development of project budgets in compliance with the companies financial practices. Provides change management consulting and assesses impacts of project scope and implications throughout project timeline, including development of strategies, readiness assessment, development of training and communications; 12. Able to motivate and direct team members to build cooperative work teams; 13. Able to identify, develop, and direct team members’ strengths, technological resources and organizational processes to build teams.

Requirements:
• Comprehensive knowledge of business units functions.
• Solid understanding of environmental sustainability issues.
• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, quality management and organizational skills. Comprehensive understanding of project management theory and team dynamics.
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate with others, initiate action and adapt to change.
• Proven ability to make tough decisions and accept challenging assignments.
• Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate costs and develop and implement project plans within budgetary guidelines.
• Proficient PC skills including project management software.
• Corporate real estate and sourcing/supplier management experience preferred. LEED AP.
Hours:
Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 5:00pm
