Natural Latex with Organic Cotton Cover

100% pure natural latex. Natural latex means it's from the natural white liquid tapped from rubber trees. No synthetic latex. In this mattress the natural rubber latex is combined with water, poured into a mold, heated, cooled and removed by hand creating uniformity, quality and durability throughout. One of the most environmentally friendly processes available.

Ideal for those concerned with EMF's, pressure point problems or for those who live in humid climates where mold, mildew and dust mites are of concern. Naturally hypo-allergenic, anti-microbial and dust mite resistant. This mattress has a core of about 6" thick. Organic cotton ticking cover. Coordinating wood foundation or slat frame recommended.

This mattress does NOT require the inconvenience of a doctor's prescription like many healthy mattresses do. Why? Natural latex is naturally fire resistant.This mattress meets State and Federal Fire Codes without added fire retardant chemicals typical of conventional mattresses, a source of chemical sensitivities in some people.

Three firmnesses: Medium, Firm and Extra Firm.
