Slat Frame or Wood Foundation for Natural Latex Mattresses Recommended to accompany our Veronique 100% pure natural latex mattresses. Slat Frame is made of laminated birch wood left uncovered at the top for easy personal adjustability. Adjust for support level (softer to slightly more rigid) and personal firmness preference. Sides of slat foundation covered with same organic cotton ticking cover as our 100% pure natural latex mattress plus wool required for fire safety. Wood Foundation is also made of naturally dried pinewood. Padded with organic cotton batting and covered with same organic cotton ticking cover as our 100% pure natural latex mattress.
