Bio-Floor Line of Wool Carpeting

An excellent choice for gorgeous, natural floor covering. No toxins and No out-gassing. Great for every home and used extensively by those with chemical sensitivity and those concerned about the environment.

Construction: Tufted, Textured Loop Pile
Yarn Content:100% Undyed, Untreated Wool

Completely biodegradable, using only 100% natural raw materials. The Bio-Floor line is made with a face fiber of 100% natural wool. No harmful chemicals are used at any stage of manufacturing. Only naturally pigmented wool fibers are used for coloration. No harsh dyes or chemical bonding agents other carpet manufacturers use. A carpet's primary backing is the material that the tufting machine places the wool yarn into and acts to hold it in place. The bio-floor line's primary backing is made of hemp and cotton.

An adhesive made of natural rubber and the secondary backing (back of carpet) material further helps to lock the stitches in place and prevents slippage of the yarn. The secondary is made from jute.

Maintenance is easy. Just vacuum on a regular basis with a suction only cleaner. Beater bar type vacuum cleaners may damage the surface pile. Comes in 12' width rolls or cut yardage and as area rugs.
