Pure Grow Wool™ wrapped around the innerspring which has been layered in organic cotton. Layers are tufted to an organic cotton ticking cover. Coordinating boxspring made of naturally dried pinewood and covered with organic cotton batting. Box springs are designed to provide the appropriate support to accommodate the different firmness levels of the mattresses. This mattress meets State and Federal Fire Codes without added fire retardant chemicals typical of conventional mattresses. No polyurethane foam (a petroleum-based product) which is a typical ingredient in conventional mattresses and a source of allergies for some people. Tempered steel innersprings. Hand made in USA.
